Nativity

I was there in the wild plain

the night that You came.

When heavenly light woke me

I learned of Your birth.

Though Your life would be so hard,

You came from afar.

Because of love for us all,

You came to this earth.

And against death You would win

to save us from sin.

To be Savior of mankind

You came just in time.

“…Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy⁠, which shall be to all people.
