Redeeming Raven

I heard Your call that evening,

far, but filled with love.

You always come to save me

when I need You most.

Flying fast in the dark sky,

You come to comfort

from the terrors of the night.

When fear takes control of me,

I feel Your hand near.

Forever swift to draw nigh.

Oh, how I need You,

and You come to lift me high.

My soul fills with love,

every time I hear Your cry.

“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,”- Luke 1:68.
